The General Information Authority is participating in the first Libyan Exhibition for Scientific Research, Innovation, and Investment, organized by the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research at the Tripoli International Fair from December 14-16. This participation comes as part of the Authority’s efforts to raise awareness of the importance of technology in driving development and enhancing government performance. On the first day, the Authority’s pavilion witnessed high-level official attendance, where the head of the delegation provided detailed and comprehensive explanations to Dr. Faisal Al-Abdali, Chairman of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research; Dr. Ramadan Al-Madani, President of the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies; Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman, Director of the Iron and Steel Company in Tripoli; and their accompanying delegations. The presentations focused on the key national initiatives led by the Authority, which included the national strategy for digital transformation and its future vision for digitizing government services and its implementation axes, the government procurement and tenders platform and its introduction as a key tool to enhance transparency and good governance, and the Libyan Digital Innovation Lab as a national center for technology incubators and the development of innovative solutions.
