The meeting of the committee concerned with the national project for the protection of personal data, formed by the decision of Mr. Abdel Moulai Abuntisha, responsible for managing the National Council for Public Freedoms and Human Rights No. (253) of the year 2023, was held this Wednesday afternoon in the hall of Engineer Lotfi Al-Zarrouk Karmous at the General Information Authority, under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdel Raouf Al-Bibas, and the membership of representatives from a number of relevant state entities, including the General Information Authority.

At the beginning of its meeting, the committee reviewed the procedures it had taken during its previous meetings. The committee also viewed visual presentations presented by its members on some distinguished laws of Arab countries in this field, with the aim of benefiting from them while the committee is drafting the national law for the protection of personal data, which the committee is working on as part of the personal data protection project under the auspices of the National Council for Public Freedoms and Human Rights.
