Yesterday, Thursday, the Director of the National Information System Department at the general information authority, Eng. Adel Jumaa Al-Toumi, accompanied by the head of the Data Resources Department, Eng. Tawfiq Najm El-Din, made a working visit to the Information and Documentation Centers of the Ministries of Labor, Rehabilitation and Transportation, this is based on the authority’s tireless endeavor to implement the guide to the inputs and outputs of the national information system in accordance with the general principles of the national policy for data governance in all government agencies in the country with its various components and dependencies, and in coordination with the sectoral information and documentation centers.
The visit included valuable and extensive discussions with officials from the two centers on several important points, the most important of which is a review of the Authority’s action plan to implement the national policy for data governance and its importance at the national level, and the impact of this policy on data governance within government institutions in the State of Libya.
This visit comes as part of a series of official visits that the authority will make to the sectoral information and documentation centers, in order to reach joint work mechanisms that will enable the authority to complete the guide for the inputs and outputs of the national information system that it is working on preparing.
