The General Information Authority, represented by the Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Relations and Media, Mr. Khaled Al-Mabrouk Al-Ferjani, participated in the fourth and final preparatory forum for the first scientific conference entitled “Dynamics of the Changing Environment and the Growing Incoming Risks… The Libyan South as a Model,” which was held this morning at the headquarters of the Libyan Open University. Organized by the Center for Social Research and In-depth Policy Studies, this forum comes within the framework of preparing for the first scientific conference scheduled to be held at the end of this year.
The Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Relations and Media stressed the importance of the conference in reviewing and discussing the problem of demographic transformation in Libya and the most prominent transformations and challenges and their future repercussions, and then coming up with results and recommendations that maximize the consolidation of the values of national belonging and loyalty, indicating that the Authority is keen to participate in this. The conference is based on its national responsibility and its role in supporting and developing scientific research.
The Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Relations and Media indicated that there are many scientific researches published in the sixth national human development report that was recently issued by the authority under the title Demographic Transformations and Sustainable Development… Employing the Demographic Dividend, which can be referred to and benefited from in covering some of the scientific topics of this conference.
The Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Relations and Media presented a paper copy of the Sixth National Human Development Report to the Chairman of the Preparatory Committee for this conference.
The forum, which was attended by a number of representatives of relevant ministries and institutions in the country, discussed the main topics that the conference will present and the expected outcomes from it.
