The General Information Authority is participating in the first Libyan Exhibition for Scientific Research, Innovation, and Investment, organized by the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research at the Tripoli International Fair from December 14 to 16. This participation comes as part of the Authority’s efforts to raise awareness of the importance of technology in driving development and improving government performance. The Authority’s pavilion saw high-level official attendance on the first day, with the head of the delegation providing detailed and comprehensive explanations to Dr. Faisal Al-Abdali, President of the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research; Dr. Ramadan Al-Madani, President of the Libyan Academy for Higher Studies; and Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman, Director of the Iron and Steel Company in Tripoli, along with their accompanying delegations.
The explanations focused on the most prominent national initiatives led by the authority, which included the national strategy for digital transformation and its future vision for digitizing government services and the axes of its implementation, as well as the government tenders and procurement platform, highlighting it as a key tool to enhance transparency and good governance.
