Within the framework of enhancing institutional integration and building data-driven policies, the General Information Authority actively participated in the workshop dedicated to reviewing and ratifying the results of the diagnostic study for the National Youth Strategy (2026–2031), organized by the Ministry of Youth in the capital, Tripoli.
The Authority was represented in this national forum by Engineer Mounir Mohamed El-Adl, Director of the Planning and Projects Department and member of the National Committee for Preparing the Strategy, and Engineer Youssef Sulaiman Shalabi, Head of the Statistical Analysis Unit. Engineer Mounir El-Adl—in his capacity as an expert on data, knowledge, and the youth information system—played a pivotal role in the dialogue sessions and technical/technological discussions of the study’s results, emphasizing the Authority’s commitment to providing statistical evidence and numerical accuracy to support decision-making.
This participation comes as part of a broad national partnership bringing together the Ministry of Youth, the General Information Authority, and the National Economic and Social Development Council, supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Libya, to ensure the creation of a robust strategy that reflects the aspirations of youth, defines their priorities, and addresses their challenges across the country.
