Today, Wednesday, the head of the general Information Authority, Eng. Abdel Basset Salem Al-Baour, met with the team that was assigned by the authority to review the guide for government electronic websites and platforms, headed by Eng. Mounir Muhammad Al-Adl, this is to find out the executive position of the latest business developments in this guide, and the preparations for launching the first version of it as part of the Authority’s celebrations of the National Information Technology Day in its third edition, which falls on Thursday.
At the beginning of the meeting, the head of the Authority praised the efforts of the team in reviewing this guide, and expressed his happiness at seeing this guide published, as it will contribute to assisting the officials of websites and electronic platforms in government agencies, in setting the general framework for websites and platforms in accordance with best practices in this regard, stressing the authority’s full readiness to work with various government agencies, and to provide the necessary support in the field of information technology.
During the meeting, Eng. Mounir Al-Adl gave a visual presentation in which he dealt with the methodology for reviewing the guide, and checking the scientific methods used in preparing digital content.
The guide is of particular importance as it is a clarifying tool for all officials of websites and digital platforms in ministries and government agencies, and reflects standards and best practices in creating and developing websites and electronic platforms.
