The General Authority for Information participated, today, Monday, in the meeting held at the headquarters of the Planning Institute, which was dedicated to discussing the second pillar of the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework, which is concerned with “Sustainable Economic Development.”
The Authority was represented in the meeting by Engineer Adel Jumaa Al-Toumi, Director of the Experts Office at the General Authority for Information, alongside representatives of national sectors and international organizations affiliated with the United Nations.
The meeting touched upon reviewing and discussing what has been accomplished during the period 2025–2026 within the framework of implementing programs and activities associated with the second pillar, and monitoring the level of progress achieved, in addition to discussing ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between national entities and development partners, in a way that contributes to achieving the desired goals and supporting the paths of sustainable economic development.
