Eng. Mounir Muhammad Al-Adl, Director of the Planning and Projects Department at the General Information Authority, participated in the meeting held by the Minister of Youth, Haitham Al-Zahaf, with the National Team for Preparing the National Youth Strategy 2026–2031 to review the final draft of the strategy.

The Authority’s participation came within the framework of its membership in the national team for preparing the strategy and its role in supporting its preparation with national data, information, and evidence. Throughout the stages of preparing the strategy, the Authority contributed by providing data and information related to youth, conducting opinion polls, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports and analytical outputs that supported the work of the national team and helped in diagnosing the reality of youth and identifying the prominent challenges, needs, and priorities.

The Authority also participated actively in the work of the team and the stages of preparing and reviewing the components of the strategy, in a way that enhances reliance on data and information in formulating national policies and programs targeted at youth.

This role comes as an extension of the competencies of the General Information Authority in supporting planning and decision-making, and enhancing the use of data and information in shaping public policies.

The National Youth Strategy is scheduled to be officially adopted next month to serve as a national reference supporting youth empowerment and enhancing their participation and contribution to the development process.
