As part of institutional integration, a follow-up meeting was held this morning between the General Authority for Information and the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education, including Mr. Nader Melitan, Director of the National Database Department at the Authority, Dr. Farajani Ali Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry for Diwan and Development Affairs, and Engineer Ramadan Al-Mabrouk Ameherie, Director of the Informatics and Documentation Department at the Ministry.The meeting discussed joint work in the field of data, which included reconciling databases for students, faculty members, and employees, activating data exchange services, and unified linking via the national data distributor (LY-NDEX). It also reviewed mechanisms to benefit from Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in supporting planning and developing the educational infrastructure.The Authority’s team reviewed mechanisms for processing and analyzing educational data and linking it to national platforms, which allows for the provision of accurate indicators that contribute to decision-making support at both institutional and national levels.This meeting comes as part of both parties’ commitment to developing the information infrastructure of the educational sector and enhancing institutional integration through joint work in the field of data and information systems. …
