On Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the High Technical Committee for the National Information System held its regular meeting at the headquarters of the National Center for Animal Health, affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources in the capital, Tripoli. The Chairman of the Committee, Eng. Hossam Mukhtar Al-Rabit, opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and expressing his gratitude to the Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Agriculture for the excellent organization and hospitality. In his opening remarks, the Chairman emphasized the organizational rules governing the Committee’s operations, stressing that permanent membership is strictly tied to the capacity of Director of the Information and Documentation Center, with official letters required to accept proxy designations during emergency circumstances.
Following the opening, the meeting proceeded to review national indicators for the financial sector. The Information and Documentation Center at the Ministry of Finance delivered a comprehensive technical presentation detailing the sector’s national indicators, accompanied by a visual presentation explaining the methodological steps and technical workflow implemented to achieve these targets.
