There was held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Information, this Monday morning, a technical coordination meeting dedicated to following up on the work of the National Indicators Directory, which brought together the technical team from the Management of the National Information System assigned by the Authority with the delegates, representatives, and technical teams of the information and documentation centers and directorates in a number of ministries and government entities, and that is to present the mechanism of work and to follow up on the works. And the meeting witnessed an active attendance of the technical teams and representatives of main centers that included the Prime Minister’s Office, Ministry of Oil and Gas, Ministry of Marine Wealth, Ministry of Economy and Trade, in addition to the Ministry of Technical and Vocational Education, Cinema, and Theater. And the meeting participants reviewed during the session the main axes for standardized mechanisms and technical concepts approved in its construction, with focus on ensuring their suitability for the data and inputs of the participating sectors, in a way that guarantees the integration of information and its smooth flow to build a unified data system that serves decision-makers. And the meeting ended in taking sequential practical steps, starting with the necessity of speeding up providing the technical team at the Authority with the draft of each participating entity and the proposed observations about the unified directory to study and match them, so that the technical team subsequently undertakes drafting the final comprehensive version and referring it directly to the High Technical Committee for the National Information System for the purpose of review and official approval.
