During its participation, Libya reaffirmed its commitment to promoting the knowledge society and digital transformation, and officially announced the establishment of the Libyan National Committee for the Information for All Programme (IFAP), in accordance with UNESCO guidelines and to enhance the multi-stakeholder partnership approach.
The Authority also reviewed Libya’s priorities in the fields of data governance, capacity building, digital archiving, responsible artificial intelligence, and ensuring equitable access to information, emphasizing its keenness to strengthen cooperation with UNESCO and international partners to support sustainable development and build an inclusive and sustainable knowledge society.
