In an official meeting with the Minister of Social Affairs, Ms. Wafa Al-Kilani, and the Minister of State for Displaced Persons and Human Rights, Mr. Jamal Abu Qrein, the Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Bin Ghalboun, reviewed the progress of the Technical Committee formed pursuant to Prime Minister’s Resolution No. (216) of 2026.
The meeting discussed the latest updates regarding the development and updating of the displaced persons database, as well as enhancing coordination and integration among the relevant authorities. This aims to provide accurate and reliable data to support monitoring the conditions of displaced persons and identifying their needs.
In this context, the General Information Authority participated in the committee’s work, represented by Mr. Nader Melitan. In cooperation and integration with relevant entities, the Authority completed the development of a national platform for managing displaced persons’ data. This system enables the unification and updating of data, enhancing the efficiency of its management and exchange among competent authorities.
These efforts come as part of supporting joint government action and utilizing national information systems to improve services and reinforce data-driven decision-making.
