Based on the outcomes of the meeting held with the medical supply system on Monday 05/15/2023, in which the importance of activating the systems operating in the authorities that provide medical and treatment services to citizens was emphasized.
Whereas, the General information Authority started during 2022, in partnership with a number of government institutions, to develop the information systems of these institutions according to the national information system.
The head of the Authority, Eng. Abdel Basset Salem Al-Baour, met today, Wednesday, at the Authority’s headquarters in Ras Hassan in the city of Tripoli, with a number of supervisors of electronic systems working with authorities that provide medical and therapeutic services, (Supervisor of the drug stock management system in the country, supervisor of the oncology patients management system, supervisor of the kidney patients management system, supervisor of the diabetes management system, and supervisor of information systems for vaccinations and health certificates), in an in-depth dialogue, where the readiness of electronic systems was reviewed in terms of all operational aspects to start working fully.
During the meeting, it was agreed to form a working group to follow up the operation of the targeted centers and hospitals during the coming period, as well as to coordinate with the various agencies in the country that need reports and statistics to prepare them periodically.
