As part of national efforts aimed at promoting digital transformation and supporting data-driven decision-making, and in line with the Libyan state’s vision for updating sustainable development indicators, the General Information Authority, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), announces the launch of a series of community consultations on the indicators and preliminary results of the chapters of the Seventh National Human Development Report, in cooperation with a number of Libyan academic institutions. This national initiative aims to engage academic expertise and national cadres in analyzing the impact of digital transformation on vital sectors, foremost among them health, education, and the economy, as well as to highlight the importance of data governance as a fundamental pillar to ensure a comprehensive and sustainable digital transformation. These consultations represent an open national platform for exchanging insights and formulating practical recommendations that reflect national needs and priorities, and contribute to preparing a development report that enhances Libya’s standing in international development indicators. The General Information Authority is pleased to invite all specialists and interested parties to attend the first consultation sessions organized in cooperation with the University of Tripoli, and to contribute to discussing the preliminary findings of the report:
